We are hiring an experienced Diesel & Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a full-time opportunity in Colorado Springs. If your background is in diesel repair, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or similar mechanical work

This is a hands‑on position for someone who is comfortable diagnosing problems, completing repairs, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently. We're looking for a mechanic who can work independently, troubleshoot beyond basic preventative maintenance, and take ownership of repairs from diagnosis through completion.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–4:00/5:00 PM
Pay: $26.00–$45.00/hour DOE
What You'll Do- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel-powered and heavy equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled service
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Diagnose engine and equipment performance issues
- Repair or replace components including engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulic components, and related systems
- Identify the root cause of equipment problems and complete repairs efficiently
- Help minimize downtime by keeping equipment properly maintained and operational
- Operate and test equipment as needed to verify repairs
- Maintain accurate, safe, and organized work practices
- 3+ years of professional diesel, heavy equipment, fleet, or related mechanic experience preferred
- Strong hands‑on troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, transmissions, and preventative maintenance
- Ability to complete repairs with minimal supervision
- Must have your own mechanic tools
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles
- Dependable, safety‑minded, and comfortable working in a hands‑on environment
- Strong work ethic and pride in completing repairs correctly
You don't necessarily need to have held the exact title of "Diesel Mechanic."
