Structures Technician

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Structures Technician to join a leading aerospace and defence organisation supporting military aircraft modification and maintenance programmes. This role involves structural assembly, repair, installation, and inspection work on complex aircraft systems while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

• Perform structural assembly, modification, and repair of aircraft components and assemblies.
• Carry out drilling, riveting, reaming, trimming, framing, and fastener installation activities.
• Align aircraft structures using jigs, fixtures, and templates.
• Complete installations in accordance with engineering drawings and technical publications.
• Conduct corrosion prevention, refinishing, and structural repair activities.
• Measure and inspect components using precision measuring equipment.
• Verify workmanship in line with quality procedures and AS9100 standards.
• Support aircraft modification and depot-level maintenance programmes.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of aircraft structural maintenance, modification, or repair experience.
• Experience with depot-level structural installations and repairs on military cargo aircraft or commercial equivalents.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, manuals, and technical publications.
• Experience installing aircraft fasteners, including rivets and hi-locks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience working within an AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Own tools in good working order.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.

• Military aviation experience, particularly on C-130 aircraft.
• Additional aerospace industry certifications.
