Primary Purpose
Responsible for driving, controlling and servicing heavy duty construction equipment in order to maintain the resources of Maintenance and Operations to develop campuses in a condition of operating excellence, appearance and safety, so that educational use of the facilities can be obtained.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Texas Driver's license (Class
C) - CDL license a plus
- Other heavy equipment licensure if required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Hand & foot coordination operating multiple levers, buttons, pedals and controls at the same time
- Ability to read gauges, dials and other indicators and react mechanically to what you are seeing.
- Coordinate your actions with others workers on busy job sites.
- Ability to detect and fix operating problems.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Knowledge of basic vehicle operation and maintenance
- Familiar with electronic work order systems
At least 2 years' experience in related field.
SalaryAUX PG 5 / 261days
Starting: $18.22 per hour
