Rate of Pay: $22.00-$23.30

- Sick leave benefit – 1 day per month, 12 sick days per year (accrual and availability begins at hire)

The Family Services Program Manager provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of Family Services programs to support individuals and families experiencing crisis and transition toward stability. This role ensures services are delivered using trauma-informed, strengths-based, and client-centered practices while meeting funding, compliance, and reporting requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operations of Family Services programs, including utility assistance, hope market operations, seasonal assistance, and emergency support.
- Ensure services are delivered efficiently, ethically, and in alignment with agency policy, funding requirements, and community standards.
- Coordinate schedules, workflows, and coverage for Family Services staff and volunteers.
- Monitor program performance and service utilization to ensure effective use of resources.
- Assist with client intake, needs assessments, referrals, and follow-up using trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and professional boundaries are always maintained.
- Collaborate with the Grant Administrator and leadership to apply for, manage, and report on program funding (including COPE, EOC, and other grants).
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for audits, funders, and regulatory agencies.
- Track service data and outcomes to support funding sustainability and program improvement.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with community agencies, utilities, schools, donors, corporations, and volunteer organizations.
- Represent the organization at community meetings, coalitions, and forums as requested.
- Coordinate cross-department collaboration for programs such as Back-to-School, and Angel Tree
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in required systems, including Well Sky, TSAMM, NSS, STATS, and Gift-in-Kind tracking.
- Utilize data to monitor trends, identify gaps, and recommend service improvements.
- Adapt to new software and data systems as agency technology evolves.
- Support, train, and mentor Family Services staff, front desk staff and volunteers.
- Promote a positive team culture aligned with organizational values and professional standards.
- Ensure volunteers receive appropriate onboarding, guidance, and oversight.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services, case management, or community-based human services.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and non-violent communication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Cultural humility and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
