We are looking for a software engineer to join a team developing a modern modeling, simulation, and analysis software framework used to simulate the motion and interaction of satellites with other satellites and ground systems. The role focuses on improving simulation, user interface, and 3D visualization capabilities. Depending on experience and interests, you may contribute to sensor algorithm development, Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), mission and performance analysis, requirements development, test planning, and modeling and simulation (M+S).

Engineers at all levels work collaboratively to define, design, and verify systems that operate across space, air, and ground domains.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Work on a team with other engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1‑5 years of software development experience in one or more general‑purpose programming languages.
• Experience using software version control systems.
• Experience working with two or more of the following: computer graphics, 3D visualization, simulations, game engines, game development, user interfaces, systems modeling, behavior modeling, state machines, analysis, space systems, control theory, orbital dynamics, and/or model‑based systems engineering.
• Eligibility to obtain an active Top‑Secret clearance.
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret security clearance.

• Active Secret or Top‑Secret clearance.
• Experience with one or more general‑purpose programming languages, including but not limited to:
  Python, Cython, C/C++, shader programming languages (GLSL).
• Experience developing simulation systems, games visualizations, or computer graphics applications.
  
  Experience with Unity3D, other game engine technologies, OpenGL, WebGL, Direct
  
  X.
• Interest and ability to learn about space, space systems, and related technologies.

$85,000 – $110,000+ annually. Actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and years of experience.
