Integration & Test Engineer

A client headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO is hiring an experienced Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer to support the development of space models for a program that is being built on a new generation of modeling & simulation technology that’s cloud-first and distributed – purpose built for large scale simulations – and powered by the award-winning Palantir Maven Smart System. The ideal candidate will be proficient in design, development and implementation of manual and automated software unit and system level tests in a CI/CD environment.

They will be able to determine the verification approach for system requirements and isolate software/system level defects. They also will conduct/participate in formal test events at customer sites with government stakeholders to validate systems capabilities. The ideal candidate will leverage their space systems/operational systems background and/or their live, virtual, and constructive environments (LVC) to perform I&T tasks. This role is hybrid onsite in either the Orlando, Florida or Colorado Springs, CO locations

Pay Rate: $60.09/hr – $69.71/hr

• Active Secret Clearance
• 5-8+ years of experience in Integration and Test engineering within operation government systems
• Demonstrated proficiency in design, development, and implementation of manual and automated software unit and system level tests in a CI/CD environment
• Hands‑on experience testing new software releases, verifying system functionality, and documenting test outcomes
• Ability to isolate and resolve system‑level issues, provide design feedback, and implement corrective actions across interdependent components
• Experience with test process development, test case design, test procedure development, test execution, system evaluation, and test reporting. – Strong Agile background/experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
• Jira/Confluence
• Experience working in a Dev Ops environment, especially involving Git Lab CI/CD, building and testing docker containerized applications and APIs, and troubleshooting pipeline/deployment issues
• Experience in automated web UI and API testing, with experience using frameworks or tools to validate end‑to‑end system behavior and data flows
• Experience with Palantir Maven Smart System or related data-driven AI/ML technologies
• Experience with automated test and data-driven development concepts, tools, and languages
