Tech7 is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. This position is hybrid requiring 2-3 days per week on site located in Colorado Springs, CO.

This position will be working is a highly visible project, with a few govt stakeholders. This position develops supporting applications, UI/UX, database queries, web services Member of a collaborative, integrated federal Government/contractor DRAGON Army team that develops, tests, and deploys specialized, high-impact software applications using Agile methodologies in a Dev Ops pipeline and communications for a government run commercial operations center.

• Taking a leading role in the technical and programmatic actions to establish, optimize, and maintain a fully functional Dev Ops pipeline that supports the DRAGON Army mission sets.
• Work with the Government customer and integrated product teams, consisting of Government contractor personnel, to implement required software feature sets, Dev Ops capabilities, and pipeline performance enhancements.
• Perform software engineering tasks that help map operational needs into digital engineering models to guide application development for implementation in the Dev Ops pipeline.
• Manage development, integration, and execution of tools designed to assess and improve the utility of applications.
• Knowledge of Agile software processes and ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers on team.

• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in agile software development
• Bachelor’s degree in (Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical degrees preferred.)
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-focused environment required
• Time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team

• Practical experience
• Master’s degree in (Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical degrees preferred.)
