Our team, Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2

BMC)- Global team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The Work
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support. They will maintain currency, debugs and configures related software products. Works from specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications as well as assisting with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs.

-This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Secret level prior to starting; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:

- A Final Secret is required for consideration - Experience programming in Java

- Experience with database design, management, and maintenance. Familiarity with Hibernate, SQL and Postgre

SQL/Enterprise DB.
- Experience developing enterprise applications
- Knowledge of server side/database development and computer system administration
- Experience working as part of an Agile team
Desired

Skills:

- Command and control system application development
- Previous experience with message translation software
- Automated test and pipeline development experience desired; test driven development
- Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms

- Experience with Software Integration testing including developing automated test scripts
- Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying with containers; experience setting up a container environment
- Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root cause, recommend and develop a solution

- Experience with Risk Management Framework/STIG/Fortify mitigation

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not…
