IQ® (CIQ) team – a product line established in 2025, focused on developing mission critical Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities. The solution offers an open‑architecture platform with customizable mission apps that integrate seamlessly with users’ tools to create a unified Command
IQ® Common Operating Picture (COP). The project is designed to meet specialized mission requirements for both domestic and international customers.
- Decompose higher‑level roadmap features into actionable work items.
- Design, implement, and integrate/test software features.
- Perform peer reviews and debug issues as they arise.
- Participate in technical discussions to define and solve overarching software architecture needs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional peers to understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs.
- Experience with Rust (or
C), Python, and Java. - Exposure to backend containerization concepts using Docker.
- Experience with gRPC framework development.
- Knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and direct experience within its stages.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience or an advanced degree in Computer Science.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools.
- Experience working across the full SDLC.
- Experience with container management using Kubernetes/Helm.
- Experience in a Full‑Stack engineering role.
- Experience with Gitlab CI/CD.
- Experience developing following REST guidelines.
- Previous IRAD experience.
This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a US citizen.
Work InformationRemote Telework:
Part‑time remote schedule combined with on‑site work at a Lockheed Martin facility. Specific weekly schedule to be discussed during hiring.
Work schedule:
4 × 10‑hour days with three days off per week.
Annual base salary range (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC): $76,500 – $134,895. Salary for other states reflects final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, key skills, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
