- Generating and simulating operational level plans to explore the art of the possible, how we could defend the ultimate high ground in a future space war

- Dynamically optimizing both terrestrial and space based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness

- Strategically optimizing the placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy multiple, evolving priorities

Our team leverages industry standard open source software solutions such as Git Lab, Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher  Our automation first and "everything as code" mindset allows our software engineers to focus their time and efforts on what is most important   building cutting edge functionality for our end users

As an engineer on an Agile Scrum Team, you will have the opportunity to rapidly develop and deploy solutions for a complex space system following core engineering principles, ultimately enabling the delivery of fully functioning mission capability to end users securely and continuously

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - Development experience with any of the following programming languages:
Java or Java Script

- Experience with application containerization  Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd  in a cloud environment  AWS, Azure, Open Stack, Open Shift

- Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence

- Experience with CI/CD   Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools

- Must be a US Citizen;
Must be able to obtain an maintain a Top Secret security clearance  This position is located at a facility that requires special access

** Desired

Skills:

* - Recent experience as a Software Lead/Architect  e g , architecture design, technical research, project management, define/enforce code quality standards, etc  

- Development experience with Linux and shell scripting  e g , bash, ash, ksh

- Familiarity with the Space Domain

- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment

- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level

- Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional results

- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment

- Strong time management skills that enable on time project delivery

- Active TS/SCI security clearance

** Schedule for this Position:
** 9x80 every other Friday off

** Pay Rate:
