Responsibilities - Design, develop, and optimize Java-based mathematical algorithms in partnership with industry leaders
- Execute the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, integration, and troubleshooting
- Create and maintain software design documents; participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality and scalability
- Engage in Agile sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement activities
- Develop software requirements and system architecture for MDS applications
- Enhance and implement integration and testing processes, tools, and metrics
- Document and execute integration and testing activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related STEM field
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, or Spring
- Ability to translate MATLAB-based algorithms into Java-based software

- Experience with server-side development and message passing
- Familiarity with version control and development tools:
Git, Eclipse, Maven, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (current or active within last 24 months)
- Willingness to travel up to 10% Preferred Skills - Exposure to Agile development methodologies
- Experience developing enterprise-level applications
- Understanding of system engineering artifacts (Use Cases, UML diagrams)
- Experience in complex mathematical algorithm development (e.g., tracking, guidance, radar systems)
