What We’re Doing
We are developing mission-critical Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities with the Command
IQ product line, an initiative launched in 2025 with substantial investment from RMS senior leadership. Our solution offers an open architecture and mission apps that can be customized to each user’s needs, allowing customers to integrate their preferred tools into a single Command
IQ Common Operating Picture to meet specialized mission requirements.
We are actively designing and developing the initial baseline, which has already attracted significant interest from customers both domestically and internationally.
Work ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will:
- Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
- Design, implement, and integrate/test software features
- Perform peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
- Participate in technical discussions to define and solve overarching software architecture needs
- Collaborate with cross‑functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs
Command
IQ is a geographically dispersed Agile‑Scrum team that adapts quickly to changing priorities and evolving project milestones. Team members gain exposure to a variety of subject areas and hone their technical skills across many tools and frameworks. - Experience using Figma as a UI/UX design tool
- Frontend framework development experience with Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Familiarity with Docker and REST APIs
- Experience across the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
- 3+ years of relevant work experience (an advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience)
- Experience in Agile methodologies and tools
- Experience with UI/UX test frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or Jest
- Experience in a full‑stack engineering role
- Exposure to Git Lab CI/CD, Helm, Kubernetes, gRPC, Python, or Flask
- Exposure to other UI/UX design tools such as Mock Flow, UXPin, or Axure
- Previous IRAD experience
- Active Secret clearance
This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Clearance Level: Secret.
Work SchedulePreferred candidates are local to Colorado Springs, CO or King of Prussia, PA; strong matches may be considered for a fully remote schedule. The specific weekly work schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Scheduled for this position: 4×10‑hour days with 3 days off per week.
