Software Engineer - Embedded & Linux Systems

We’re looking for an entry‑level Software Engineer to join our embedded systems team. In this early‑career role, you’ll help develop and test software for real‑time and Linux‑based systems, work with automated test equipment, and contribute to multidisciplinary engineering projects.

This is an ONSITE role at our Colorado Springs, CO location on a 9/80 work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write embedded software for microcontrollers as well as high performance, multi-core processors.

• Write Python scripts for automated test equipment

• Create Graphical User Interfaces

• Apply Object Oriented design principles and design patterns

• Contribute to driver development for real‑time and Linux operating systems

• Low‑level communication interfaces for industry standard protocols

• Implement software architectures defined in SysML in C/C++ or Python

• Use of Git-based version control and static software analysis tools

• Apply secure coding practices and test‑driven development

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.

• Relevant engineering experience (internships).

• Strong fundamentals in Embedded C/C++ and Python

• Effective communication in cross‑disciplinary teams

WE VALUE

• Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering.

• Experience with Agile development methods

• Exposure to embedded systems, Linux development, or communication protocols

• Interest in learning DSP and machine learning algorithms

The annual base salary range for this position is $74,600 - $93,300. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
