Basic Qualifications

• Strong Software Development, Software Engineering background, with a track record of successful project delivery
• Experience developing ground subsystems
• Demonstrated expertise in Scaled Agile development methodologies, with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and teamwork across Agile Development Teams.
• Active TS Clearance required for consideration with the ability to obtain an SCI.

Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Level 3 ground Software Engineer with an active Final Top Secret security clearance to work from either our King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO location(s). This position is contingent upon the program award expected in July, 2026.

We are looking for software engineers to craft and build innovative solutions for our customers. You will be part of an Agile team that utilizes state of the art commercial standard methodologies such as Dev Sec Ops  (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, etc.) and modern development tools. You will participate in progressing system capabilities from early design through site acceptance focused on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices.

You will demonstrate effective communication skills and a desire to have fun with your work.

• Development of innovative enterprise, cloud‑based solutions for mission management and command and control
• Design, implement, test, and maintain object‑oriented ground system software applications using Java, Angular, and Python
• Support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability
• Collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology

Selected candidates will be required to possess Active Top Secret with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (i.e. TS/SCI) prior to starting employment.

This is an EARLY‑MID CAREER (level
3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
