We are seeking an early career Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable Dev Ops solutions and CI/CD pipelines that support efficient software delivery. The engineer collaborates with cross‑functional teams to enhance automation, reliability, and system performance.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab and Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain complex software applications in Python, Java, Bash, and Power Shell.
- Implement solutions for an enterprise‑scale network, including building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Software‑defined Networking (SDN) solutions to optimize network management.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all software: CI/CD pipelines, architecture, configuration, and tooling guides.
- Develop and enhance automation scripts and services using Python or Java to improve Dev Ops workflows.
- Support critical activities outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Perform any other required tasks by the program.
- Must have an 8140 compliant certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
- Qualified candidate must obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting. Requires U.S. citizenship.
- Must maintain a valid U.S. passport.
- Must be able to travel to alternate work locations for job duties such as deployments.
- Experience coding in Python, Java, Bash, and Power Shell.
- Understanding of object‑oriented programming principles, API integration (particularly REST API), and Git version control.
- Ability to script and test automation of software tools.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and basic orchestration concepts.
- Effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment and independently on large field projects.
Position requires a government security clearance. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Pay RateAnnual base salary range: $76,500 – $134,895 for designated states. Salary may vary by location and is based on experience and other factors.
