The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) organization seeks a Lead Front‑End Software Engineer to support the Delphi team. The role focuses on developing modern web‑based command‑and‑control systems and next‑generation ground command and control capabilities for Satellite Digital Twins and Space Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) programs.

• Lead a team of HMI developers.
• Design and implement intuitive, high‑performance HMI and visualization components for web‑based command‑and‑control systems.
• Build and maintain front‑end applications and APIs that integrate with backend services, simulations, and digital twin data sources.
• Collaborate with product owners, systems engineers, modelers, and cross‑functional teams to translate operational needs into software features.
• Create prototypes and iterate quickly to validate concepts and improve user workflows.
• Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, integration testing, and continuous delivery.
• Author clear developer‑ and user‑facing documentation and support deployment and operational testing.
• Represent Boeing professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• 3+ years of experience with HMI development and prototyping.
• 3+ years of experience with modern development languages and frameworks such as Java, JavaScript, ThreeJS, WebGL, Spring Boot, Flask, Node.js, and Python.
• 2+ years of experience writing developer‑facing and user‑facing documentation.

• 5+ years of related work experience (or equivalent education/experience).
• Level 3 or Level 4 seniority as defined by Boeing’s career ladder requirements.
• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• 3+ years of agile software development experience.
• 3+ years of cloud infrastructure development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Cesium and CesiumJS.
• Up to 10% travel required.
