Cutting Edge is seeking a Software Integration and Test Lead to join our team! As a member of our team, you’ll support our client in a vital role in advancing innovative technologies. • Develop and maintain detailed software integration and test plans, schedules, and test cases aligned to program milestones.
• Lead execution of functional, regression, system, and acceptance tests.
• Ensure all software requirements are adequately mapped to test cases and verification activities.
• Oversee defect management, verification, and closure in tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, DOORS). Communicate test progress/results to stakeholders and leadership.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for integration, testing, and verification activities to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Interface with software engineering, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and operational stakeholders to ensure alignment of integration and test activities.
• Prepare and deliver integration and test documentation, including plans, procedures, and formal test reports.
• Perform configuration control of test assets and environments. Assess and communicate integration and test risks, and manage mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all integration/test activities comply with contract, program, and DoD/Government regulations and security requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in software integration, testing, or verification, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or lead role
• Strong working knowledge of requirements management, test automation, and defect tracking tools (e.g., DOORS, JIRA, Test Rail)
• Familiarity with satellite communications, ground systems, or network protocols preferred
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
