Vantor is seeking a Software Engineer to join our project team developing application software.

Location: Colorado Springs – On Site

• Participate in the requirements analysis and design for software applications or sub-components.
• Code or maintain software applications or sub-components from specifications.
• Follow established software development process.
• Create appropriate process artifacts including requirements documentation, design documentation, and test plans.
• Test applications as identified in the development methodology, and create necessary documentation.

• Must be U.S. Citizen and eligible for SECRET security clearance.
• BS in Computer Science or related discipline. 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• C++ programming experience.
• Experience with Object Oriented software development theory and associated methodologies.
• Good understanding of coding methods and best practices.

• 2+ years of professional experience.
• Excellent Math and Physics skills.
• Ability to take direction from senior team members.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills to include active listening.

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this position within Colorado is $66,000.00 – $88,408.00 – $97,248.80 annually. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position; final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
