We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support enterprise application needs across multiple manufacturing and business sites, including locations in the United States and overseas. This role will work closely with Business Analysts, customers, technical teams, and end users to design, develop, enhance, and support custom applications, reporting solutions, integrations, and data‑driven systems for Manufacturing, Engineering, and related business functions.
This position is intended for a senior technical contributor and technical lead with potential growth into a manager role. The Senior Software Engineer will provide technical guidance, mentor team members, support project execution, and help drive continuous improvement across applications, processes, and systems.
Because this role supports global stakeholders, occasional meetings outside normal business hours may be required to accommodate teams in different time zones.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and support custom enterprise applications for Manufacturing, Engineering, and related business functions.
- Develop and support .NET applications, reporting solutions, and ETL processes for manufacturing and engineering organizations.
- Work with Business Analysts, customers, technical users, and non‑technical users to understand requirements, evaluate options, and drive effective solutions.
- Serve as a technical lead for enterprise application initiatives, including solution design, development standards, testing, implementation, and support.
- Support multiple domestic and international sites with scalable, reliable, and maintainable application solutions.
- Prepare functional and technical documentation and provide regular project updates.
- Use internal tracking systems to log requests, issues, enhancements, and projects.
- Follow Information Systems policies and procedures related to development, project management, and change control.
- Manage or support project activities involving scope, schedule, quality, cost, resources, and stakeholders.
- Provide coaching, feedback, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members.
- Delegate work appropriately, monitor progress, and support successful execution of team deliverables.
- Build productive internal and external working relationships to support continuous improvement.
- Supervise assigned individuals at the Colorado Springs FAB5 facility.
- Perform other job related tasks as directed by the manager.
This is an on‑site position based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role supports enterprise applications used across multiple domestic and international locations. Occasional off‑hour meetings may be required to support stakeholders in different time zones.
Requirements / Qualifications- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or another related technical discipline.
