Test Engineer Cleared Colorado Springs

Job Summary

The Test Engineer supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).

This position will be filled and work onsite at Amentum Downtown Building Colorado Springs, Colorado.

• Conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation of engineering software applications characterized by complex functionalities, stringent operational constraints, and sophisticated input/output configurations.
• Develop test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
• Provide diagnostic support to correct processing anomalies in complex computer programs.
• Assist in the preparation of specifications and other activities that require knowledge of programming principles and techniques.
• Interpret requirements and perform analyses to ensure that objectives are met.
• Collaborate with Agile and Project team(s) to refine Acceptance and Verification Criteria and optimize software/system Test approaches.
• Lead Agile and Project team(s) in the development and implementation of testing strategies for software/systems.
• Attend and participate in Agile and Project meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Integrated Project Teams).

• Clearance Requirements:
  Secret
• 3 years or more of directly related experience
• 3 years or more of general work experience
• 3 years of experience in software/systems testing and verification, OR 3 years of experience in the ITW/AA mission domain
• BS degree in a related scientific or engineering discipline desired
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies desired
• Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environments desired
• 1 year of experience in the development and use of automated testing of software/systems desired

$65,000 – $75,000 USD
