We are seeking an early career Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will develop and maintain scalable Dev Ops solutions and CI/CD pipelines that support efficient software delivery. The engineer collaborates with cross‑functional teams to enhance automation, reliability, and system performance.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, implement and maintain CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Git Lab and Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain complex software applications in Python, Java, Bash, and Power Shell.
- Implement solutions for an enterprise‑scale network, including building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Software‑defined Networking (SDN) solutions to optimize network management.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all software, including CI/CD pipelines, architecture, configuration, and tooling guides.
- Develop and enhance automation scripts and services using Python or Java to improve Dev Ops workflows.
- Support critical activities outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Perform any other required tasks by the program.
- Must have an 8140 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
- Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. This requires US Citizenship.
- Must maintain a valid US passport.
- Must be able to travel to alternate work locations to execute job duties such as deployments.
- Experience coding in Python and Java, as well as scripting languages such as Bash and Power Shell.
- Understanding of object‑oriented programming principles, API integration (particularly the REST API), and Git version control.
- Ability to script and test automation of software tools.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and basic orchestration concepts.
- Effective communication with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently on large field projects.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado is $76,500 - $134,895. For other states, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
