Mid Software Developer

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing secure, end-to-end cluster and application life cycles in cloud environments. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement containerization solutions using Kubernetes or Docker. A key aspect of your role will involve building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth, secure software update process. Additionally, you will apply Git Ops principles for software delivery automation, ensuring that systems are both efficient and secure.

Your work will support the organization's goals of enhancing security, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work across multiple technology stacks, gaining hands‑on experience with various languages, frameworks, and tools to support a broad range of applications.
  • Work in languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and GoLang, among other languages to deliver industry standard application functionality.
  • Work with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, and others.
  • Design, develop, and implement secure, end‑to‑end Kubernetes or Docker‑based cluster and application life cycles.
  • Participate in software development using CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on security and automation.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect containerized solutions and cloud‑native applications.
  • Apply Git Ops principles for automated and reliable deployment processes.
  • Implement Dev Sec Ops  best practices, ensuring security is integrated at every stage of the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure effective log management and use analytics tools for system monitoring and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, Power Shell) to automate security checks, deployment processes, and routine Dev Ops tasks.
  • Leverage AWS cloud services and other cloud platforms to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Contribute to the development of secure network configurations and cloud‑based security architecture.
  • Maintain strong familiarity with Agile, Dev Ops, and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing Service Mesh solutions (e.g., Istio) to support secure and efficient service‑to‑service communications.
  • Collaborate with teams using version control systems like Git Lab, and work with automation tools like Ansible, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Stay current with cloud technologies, industry best practices, and evolving security threats to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Maintain infrastructure using IaC/CaC.
Qualifications – Required
  • Secret Security Clearance or above
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 10 years of progressive related experience
  • Advanced experience developing web‑based applications
  • Advanced experience with Kubernetes or Docker
  • Develop and implement end‑to‑end cluster and application life cycles
  • Experience working with Agile, Agile XP, Dev Ops, and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Material UI, Type Script, React
  • Experience with scripting languages Python, Bash, Power Shell
  • Networking experience
  • Experience working with version control systems like Git Lab
  • Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines, Git Lab CI and ArgoCD
  • Strong problem‑solving skills
  • Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
  • Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
  • Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Git Lab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
  • Experience with Unit/Integration Testing tools Jest, Cypress or Playwright
  • Experience with Test Driven Development
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with writing custom Helm Charts
  • Experience with Big Data
  • Experience in Database development like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools PowerBI, Tableau, Python
  • Experience working in AWS and cloud technologies
  • Experience or knowledge of Service Mesh, such as Istio
  • Experience with Vue.js and Angular
  • Basic Compensation: $142,800 – $214,200 (For Colorado Springs, CO Only)
Compensation and Benefits

Your compensation will range from $142,800 to $214,200, depending on knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, sign‑on bonus, relocation benefits, short‑term incentives, long‑term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
