Overview
Join the EADGE-T team to upgrade the program’s technology and bring new capabilities to the UAE customer. The EADGE-T system is an integrated air missile defense and air battle management capability for the UAE, integrating existing sensors, weapons, and new capabilities.
The Tech Refresh will focus on foundational / cyber security enhancements. Be part of the team actively designing and developing the updated baseline with opportunities to work with an international customer.
Responsibilities- Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
- Design, implement, and integrate/test software features
- Perform peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
- Participate in technical discussions to define/solve overarching software architecture needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs
EADGE-T has a geographically dispersed project team that executes in an agile – scrum setting. Team members interface with an international customer and work on technologies and processes developed for the upgrade.

Basic Qualifications- Proficiency with Python and Java
- RHEL/Windows experience
- Experience working in agile environments (Kanban/Scrum)
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency with version control and collaboration tools (e.g. Git, Git Lab, Jira, Confluence)
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration (unit tests, CI/CD pipelines)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
- Ability to travel OCONUS
- Ability to obtain a Secret DoD Security Clearance
- Experience with Services, Microservices, Software Factories, Cloud-native and Service-Oriented Architectures
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Strong background in CI/CD tooling (Git, Git Lab, Jenkins) and automated testing frameworks
- Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and regression testing expertise
- Cybersecurity knowledge for software products (user authentication, data encryption) and secure development handling of classified information
- Active Secret Clearance
