We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable Dev Ops solutions and CI/CD pipelines that support efficient software delivery. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, reliability, and system performance.

• Design, build, implement and maintain CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Git Lab and Jenkins.
• Develop and maintain complex software applications in languages such as Python, Java, Bash, and Powershell.
• Implement solutions for an enterprise-scale network, including building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Software-defined Networking (SDN) solutions to optimize network management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all software, including CI/CD pipelines, architecture, configuration, and tooling guides.
• Develop and enhance automation scripts and services using Python or Java to improve Dev Ops workflows
• The candidate may be required to support critical activities outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

BMC team, Lockheed Martin directs a partnership of highly responsive industry leaders developing and fielding the backbone of America’s missile defense. Together, this national team supports the design, development, test, integration and fielding of hardware and software elements that enable the Missile Defense System (MDS) to function effectively and continually. You will also have the opportunity to interface with our key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

A successful candidate must understand and be dedicated to the C2

BMC Mission including Missile and Space Defense. The successful candidate will need to utilize good communication skills and good organizational skills to facilitate collaboration across the many organizations necessary to accomplish challenging missions.

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
