Sr. Specialist, Software Engineer (Scrum Master)

Harris and the ATLAS team to support mission-critical capabilities that directly serve the U.S. Space Force. In this role, you will serve as the Scrum Master for one of the ATLAS software development teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring strong team delivery. In addition to Scrum Master responsibilities, you will contribute to testing activities by validating user stories, supporting integration events, and helping ensure high-quality software delivery.
This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful national security challenges, collaborate with highly technical teams, and support software used in real-world operations.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as Scrum Master for an ATLAS development team, including facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with Product Owners, developers, testers, and cross-functional partners to ensure smooth and predictable Agile delivery.
- Perform functional testing of user stories, including writing and executing test cases, participating in integration events, and validating acceptance criteria.
- Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, implementation, integration, and test.
- Quarterly travel to Vandenberg SFB may be required (10%) to support test events.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and 4 years of prior related experience, or In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience - Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Skills:
- Professional experience supporting Agile software development teams
- Proficient knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum practices, team facilitation, and backlog management
- Experience performing software testing activities, including writing test cases, executing tests, and validating acceptance criteria
- Ability to understand software development workflows and collaborate closely with engineers, testers, and product owners
- DoD 8570 compliant, CompTIA Security+ certification a plus
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $97,000-$180,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
