Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Stock Assistant to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of equipment, materials, and supplies in our central warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with inventory management systems (especially SAP), and the ability to ensure accuracy in stock handling and order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
• Store materials properly, ensuring correct labeling, temperature control, and safety compliance.
• Pick, pack, and issue stock items based on requisitions or work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and generate stock usage reports.
• Replenish stock levels by placing orders or notifying procurement teams.
• Follow safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT experience is a plus).
• Organize warehouse space efficiently, considering weight limits, turnover rates, and storage guidelines.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) if certified.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of warehouse or inventory management experience.
• 1-2 years of SAP experience (Warehouse/Inventory modules preferred).
• Knowledge of stock control, material handling, and storage best practices.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail for quality checks and documentation.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HAZMAT certification or experience handling hazardous materials.
• Forklift certification.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
