We conduct hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction – from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.

We are offering a $1,500 sign‑on bonus for this role.

The Senior Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check‑out of items. They utilize a heavy mechanical aptitude to complete repairs and maintenance on items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff.

• May act as a lead or coordinate assigned activities.
• Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) inventory
• Performs joint physical inventories at government locations
• Uses systems to track and process inventory
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment
• Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary
• Performs maintenance and heavy repairs on equipment
• Merchandises and inspects items for sale.
• Boosts equipment
• Performs complex demilitarization and deidentification
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment
• Assist in coordinating logistics
• Interacts with customers
• Travels to other locations as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Good customer service to both internal and external customers
• High school diploma or GED required
• Travel up to 80% may be required
• Lift 80 pounds regularly
