Job Description

The individual in this position will be responsible for preparing, moving, and shipping materials and finished goods in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. This role supports daily warehouse and shipping operations by ensuring orders are correctly picked, packed, labeled, and dispatched according to company and customer requirements.

• Participate in daily warehouse activities, including shipments to customers, vendors, and other Microchip sites, both domestic and international.
• Learn and use the ERP systems used in the warehouse, including BaaN, AX2012 and the SA tool.
• Use the Ace government system to file shipments over $2,500 in value.
• Prepare shipping documents for all shipments leaving the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Be willing to work overtime when required.

• 2-3 years of strong shipping and logistics experience.
• Experience with both international and domestic shipping.
• Proficiency in creating airway bills in Fed Ex, UPS, and DHL systems.
• Understanding of third‑party carriers such as KWE, Morrison, etc.
• Knowledge of invoices, HTS/ECCN numbers, and EEI filing.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
• Customer service orientation.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Dangerous goods certification preferred.

• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Operate warehouse equipment.
• Lift, move, sort, and store objects.
• Operate a computer terminal and warehouse‑related software.
• Work independently with little direction.
• Observe health and safety regulations.

• Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds.

• Monday - Friday 8 hours/day, Standing 50%, Walking 25%, Sitting 25%, Inside 90%, Outside 10%

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the U.S., is $19.00 - $23.00. The range is dependent on factors such as location, skills, and experience.
