AR/Billing Specialist - Commerce City, CO (In-office)
Salary: $60,, DOE

- Prepare and issue 150+ customer invoices per month in accordance with contract terms and project milestones.
- Manage billing submissions through third-party portals, including platforms such as Textura, Core Pay, , and similar systems.
- Process and track required documentation, including lien waivers, AIA billing documents, and other contract-required forms.
- Review billing packages submitted by project teams to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to invoice creation.
- Partner with Project Managers to confirm billing aligns with contract terms, percent-complete milestones, and supporting documentation.
- Schedule and track billing evaluations (e.g., mobilization, project phases, and line items) to ensure accurate percent-complete invoicing and timeline adherence.
- Review contracts to confirm billing deadlines, payment terms, and compliance requirements.
- Follow up with customers regarding invoice rejections, adjustments, change orders, and outstanding documentation.
- Apply customer payments accurately and provide payment confirmations as needed.
- Monitor aging reports and support collections efforts to ensure timely payment.
- Set up new jobs/projects within the accounting system.
- Maintain consistent communication with internal teams (Project Managers, field staff, and corporate personnel) as well as customers, contractors, and vendors to resolve billing-related matters.
- 3+ years of business to business AR experience
- Associate's degree in Accounting highly preferred
