We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee key accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. In this role, you will manage month-end close processes, prepare financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and mentor junior accounting staff. The ideal candidate has a strong technical accounting background, sound judgment, and the ability to work cross‑functionally to support broader financial decision‑making.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other reports to provide insightful analysis of the company’s financial performance.
• Lead the month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Play a lead role in the annual budgeting process and provide continuous forecasting to support financial planning.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive profitability.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, GAAP, and tax laws.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits, and lead the preparation of necessary documentation and schedules.
• Collaborate with tax specialists to develop effective tax planning strategies, ensuring the company’s tax compliance and optimizing tax positions.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.

• Monitor cash flow, manage cash reserves, and optimize working capital to support business operations effectively.
• Recommend appropriate actions to address cash fluctuations and liquidity challenges.
• Manage the monthly revenue accounting process in accordance with ASC 606.
• Assist with the accounts payable and accounts receivable activities for the company.

• Continuously assess and improve financial processes, controls, and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
• Implement best practices to streamline workflows and drive operational excellence.
• Assist with special projects, such as system implementations or process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, preferably within the utilities or payments industries.
