Job Summary
Disability Services (DS) at CU Boulder encourages applications for an Accommodation Support Coordinator! Disability Services supports students with disabilities in accessing reasonable accommodations and services that allow them to fully participate in the academic and residential environment. The Accommodation Support Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of high-level academic accommodations, including flexibility with attendance and assignment due dates, note-taking technology, accessible furniture, captioning/interpreting services, and alternate formats. This position requires strong organizational, technical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and foster collaboration across campus.
As a key contributor, the Accommodation Support Coordinator delivers direct support to students, faculty, and staff, while promoting disability awareness and advising on universal design principles to ensure equitable access. Success in this role requires adaptability, attention to detail, strong communication, and a commitment to student-centered service.

Key Responsibilities Will Be Accommodation Support
The Accommodation Support Coordinator manages all aspects of high-level accommodation implementation, including Flexibility with Attendance & Assignment Deadlines Plans (Flex Plans), Genio, Habitat Learn, Peer Note-taking, Accessible Furniture, Captioning/Interpreting Services, and Alternate Format.
Flex Plan- Manage the primary Flex Plan email account and associated systems (AIM, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Qualtrics).
- Track requests for plans, notify faculty, and ensure timely completion of requests.
- Serve as the first point of contact for faculty, students, and staff, and collaborate with faculty to draft, review, and finalize course-specific Flex Plans.
- Advise on language and evaluate reasonable flexibility, including fundamental alteration reviews.
- Manage the primary Note-taking email account and associated systems (AIM, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Qualtrics).
- Track requests for note-taking, recruitment of peer note-takers through class rosters, and ensure timely completion of requests.
- Manage software licenses (Genio, Habitat Learn) and provide consultations for effective use.
- Organize incentive processes and submit invoices for volunteer note-takers.
- Problem-solve alternative note-taking options when requests cannot be filled through standard processes.
- Manage the primary Accessible Furniture email account and associated systems (AIM, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Qualtrics).
- Track requests for furniture and ensure the timely completion of requests.
