Compass for Lifelong Discovery is seeking a full‑time, year‑round Business Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our organization. This position oversees financial administration, compliance coordination, facilities oversight, and internal systems that support two highly respected public K‑8 charter schools:
Aspen Community School and Carbondale Community School.
The Business Manager works closely with the Executive Director, school principals, administrative staff, and external partners to ensure that financial and administrative operations run accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Financial operations, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and audit coordination
- Compliance reporting, insurance renewals, vendor contracts, and organizational record keeping
- Facilities administration, including employee housing and school rental coordination
- Board and executive support, governance records, and administrative systems management
Qualified candidates will have experience in business operations, nonprofit administration, accounting, or financial management. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and comfort working across multiple software platforms are essential. Experience with Quick Books and nonprofit financial operations is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $65,000-$75,000, depending on experience
