SUMMARY OF
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As the Registrar/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors to our Early Childhood Schools. Your role will involve maintaining confidential student records, coordinating registration activities, and providing general clerical support to ensure smooth office operations. Exceptional customer service skills, and proficiency in office management tasks are essential for success in this role.
SUPERVISED BY: Director of Early Childhood Department and Gypsum Early Learning Center School Director
ESSENTIAL JOB ELEMENTS- Serve as the primary receptionist for the Early Childhood Office.
- Support families through the enrollment process.
- Maintain updated Early Childhood program wide waitlist.
- Complete annual update process with families.
- Maintain Power School student database, including daily attendance.
- Assist in compiling, maintaining, and distributing various reports and documents.
- Perform general secretarial duties such as filing, word processing, copying, scheduling, and office management.
- Maintain accurate student and family records, including attendance and enrollment data.
- Compose, type, and edit routine correspondence and reports.
- Complete daily and on-going office duties assigned.
- Update, publish, and distribute parent communication materials.
- Collaborate with the Family Service Team, Office Manager, and site staff as directed.
- Attend district and department meetings as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director ECE Department and/or School Direction.
CONTACTS: Students, parents, administrative staff, teachers, vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of previous secretarial experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external clients.
- Strong knowledge of computers: keyboarding, database management, spreadsheet, and word processing.
- Documented completion of at least 2 specialized technical courses (or acquired within 6 months of hire).
- Successful experience working with confidential information in an office setting.
- Problem-solving capabilities and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organization and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time.
- Bilingual capability preferred.
Position Type: 1.00 FTE
Salary: $21.46 to $25.75 Per Hour
