Resources Assistant (Part‑time)

The Human Resources Assistant is a part‑time position that assists the Human Resources Management team with administrative tasks including recruiting, staffing, onboarding, employee/non‑profit check‑in, and more. The HR Assistant will work well with customers, visitors, and employees in a professional and cheerful manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

The schedule is event based; applicants must be available to work all events, including those that occur on weekends, evenings, and holidays. The HR Assistant may also be asked to work at other Aramark‑operated venues in the Denver Metro Area.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: $23.43 hourly.

Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all aspects of hourly recruitment, including posting job requisitions, scheduling interviews and hiring fairs, sending paperwork, and onboarding.
  • Source new non‑profit groups and submit vetting requests.
  • Assist the staffing team with event preparations and on‑site event day check‑in support, and reconcile event day operations.
  • Communicate event details to employees and non‑profit volunteers.
  • Complete event day preparations, including creating staffing assignments, scheduling employees in the payroll system, preparing non‑profit event day packets, and delivering paperwork to assigned locations.
  • Perform event day operations such as set up, employee check‑in, roster reconciliation, and closing duties.
  • Finalize event day reconciliation within 24 hours post event.
  • Perform administrative functions including distributing mail, ordering and stocking supplies, answering phones, and greeting visitors.
  • Assist management with clerical tasks related to accounting, payroll, receiving, and/or human resources, including filing, data entry, record review and maintenance.
  • Greet customers, clients, and employees; answer inquiries or direct calls as necessary.
  • Maintain office memos and informative postings.
  • Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and Microsoft Office.

This position may require additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older (required).
  • Prior administrative experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail.
  • Requires frequent performance of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms.
  • Ability to work late evenings and close events for HR.
