Reporting to the OAM (Office Administrative Manager), this non-exempt position represents CAAC, offering the patient a positive, first impression by phone and/or in person. We are looking for a positive, experienced, responsible individual to contribute depth & knowledge to our busy practice.
Responsibilities- Utilizing time and resources, makes sure all patients (established and new) feel welcome, appreciated and comfortable every time they enter the office.
- Ensures that the number one priority is customer service with patients and staff.
- Schedules appointments, checks patients in and out, gives information to callers, relieves others of clerical and administrative work.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Products).
- Demonstrates flexibility and professionalism.
- Maintains open communication and a positive, team-oriented work environment with all departments.
- Takes initiative and is a self-starter.
- Saturday Morning rotation.
- Performs additional duties as deemed necessary.
- OSHA and HIPAA compliant.
- Responsibilities are subject to change at any time based on company needs.
Medical (100% paid for employee for HDHP/HSA), dental (100% paid for employee for DHMO or 50% for PPO), flex spending accounts, health savings accounts, life insurance, supplemental life insurance, AD&D, LTD, EAP, 401(k) plus company match, profit sharing, incentive plan, tuition reimbursement and 4 day work week. No nights, no holidays, possibly in rotation for 1 Saturday (half-day) per month depending on location.
Qualifications- High school graduate.
- At least 2 years experience in a medical office preferred.
- Experience with billing, coding and insurance benefits is preferred.
- HepB vaccine.
