General Information

Hours:
9am to 2pm Monday through Thursday (with potential flexibility)
Location:
On-site at the church office
- Provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming experience for all who visit or contact the church.
- Support office hours as directed by Lead Pastor.
- Serve as a helpful point of contact, directing individuals to appropriate staff, ministries, or resources as needed.
- Assist in pointing people in need to the correct internal or external support resources.
- Coordinate and maintain the church calendar, including events, meetings, and shared resources.
- Manage facility use, including room scheduling, requests, and coordination with ministry leaders.
- Provide administrative assistance to pastors, ministry leaders and volunteers.
- Create and manage communications such as bulletins, emails, reports, and other written materials.
- Maintain and utilize Planning Center for scheduling, communication, and coordination.
- Work with Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication.
- Assist with purchasing supplies, food, and other items needed for ministry and events.
- Assist with preparation for worship services, meetings, and church events.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and people skills with a hospitable, service-oriented attitude.
- Dependable, reliable, and able to follow through on responsibilities.
- High attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and schedules.
- Comfortable working with technology and software, including Microsoft Office, Canva, Planning Center.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and congregants.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
- Experience working in a church, nonprofit, or ministry setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Heart for service and supporting the mission of the church.
