DescriptionThe Town of Silverthorne Arts, Events and Venues department is seeking applications for an Events Coordinator. This position is responsible for developing, planning and implementing strategic events and programs to enhance the sense of community and quality of life in Silverthorne in partnership with the Arts, Events and Venues Director per the guidance of the Arts and Culture strategic plan. Develops effective partnerships with the business community to enhance events and facilities while promoting local business and downtown initiatives.
The Events Coordinator will oversee and adhere to the events and arts budgets to ensure that appropriate resources are available for successful town events and programming. Please see attached job description for more information regarding job duties and qualifications.
Hiring Range is: $63,750 to $72,250
Full Pay Range is: $63,750 to $85,000
The Town of Silverthorne values multilingual skills and offers bilingual pay (currently for Spanish) of $0.40–$1.20/hour based on proficiency and job usage.

Position RequirementsRequired Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent event planning experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License within 30 days of hire.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- At least three years proven experience in events production or closely related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Event Management, Communications or a related field.
- Proven experience with event or facility management.
Proven supervisory experience. - Proven experience managing budgets.
