Chainlink is the industry-standard oracle platform bringing the capital markets onchain and powering the majority of decentralized finance (DeFi). The Chainlink stack provides the essential data, interoperability, compliance, and privacy standards needed to power advanced blockchain use cases for institutional tokenized assets, lending, payments, stable coins, and more. Since inventing decentralized oracle networks, Chainlink has enabled tens of trillions in transaction value and now secures the vast majority of DeFi.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Benefits Manager to take full ownership of our global benefits ecosystem. This is a high-impact role where you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of our health, welfare, and retirement programs across the US and our international markets. You will be the primary architect of our renewal strategies, a champion for employee education, and the driving force behind systematising our benefits data.

Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, you will balance strategic vendor management with hands‑on operational excellence, ensuring our programs remain competitive, compliant, and scalable as we grow.

Your Impact Benefits Ownership & Strategy
  • Benefits strategy:
Develop and evolve global benefits programs (e.g. health, wellness, retirement, leaves, perks)
  • Vendor Management:
Manage broker, carrier, and global provider relationships. Evaluate vendors for cost, performance, and competitiveness. Lead the end‑to‑end renewal, negotiations, and RFP process for the US and international markets, managing 10+ locations and vendors.
  • Benefits Operation:
Administer and ensure the rigorous compliance of all benefit plans, monitoring claims data and regulatory requirements, including administration and compliance of level‑funded plans.
  • Benchmarking:
Lead global market benchmarking to ensure our offerings remain competitive across all regions.
Operational Excellence
  • Process Management:
Oversee enrollment processes, audit and redesign workflows and handoff points between internal teams and vendors to eliminate friction.
  • Systemisation:
Build and maintain robust benefits cost‑tracking models, variance analysis, and data systems to provide "source of truth" reporting.
  • Procurement:
Own the vendor lifecycle from initial RFP and procurement to ongoing performance management and relationship building.
Communication & Education
  • Content Creation:
Design and maintain a comprehensive benefits education suite, including internal wikis, slide decks, and guides.
  • Employee Support:
Act as the subject‑matter expert for complex employee inquiries and lead high‑touch open enrolment logistics.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing US benefits programs, including renewals and open enrolment, within a multinational company or through a brokerage.
  • Strong background in benefits design, vendor management, and market benchmarking.
  • Deep knowledge of self‑funded and level‑funded healthcare plans, including administration and compliance.
  • Experience managing 401(k) plans, including compliance testing (ADP/ACP) and vendor selection.
  • Experience managing international benefits programs across regions such as EMEA, LATAM, or APAC.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, and ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
  • Self‑starter with a builder mindset, capable of operating independently and managing complex projects.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in tech, startup, or Web3 environments.
  • Familiarity with benchmarking tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer) and HRIS/benefits administration systems (e.g., Sequoia).
