About LEAP: LEAP is a dual-use space logistics company building the vehicles, infrastructure, and technologies to move goods anywhere on Earth or in orbit in minutes. Position Overview:

Support engagement with DoD and Congressional stakeholders while tracking funding pathways and policy developments. This is similar to headquarters staff or legislative support roles.

Military Backgrounds that translate well:
Legislative Affairs Service HQ Staff Strategic Planner Policy Officer Public Affairs Officer Plans Officer

Basic Qualifications:

• Active duty within 180 days of separation
• Relevant leadership or operational experience
• Strong communication skills
• U.S. Person status required

Compensation (If hired after the internship):
Salary Range: $105,000 – $125,000

The estimated salary range for this role reflects various compensation factors. The final offer depends on factors such as work experience, education, training, key skills, and business needs. In addition, LEAP provides a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, which includes:

Not all internships include certification training by Vets2PM, as many host companies include their own internship-focused training instead. If selected for an internship with Vets2PM please read your approval email, letter, and training plan to be sure you understand what is included in your internship.
