Position Function
Responsible for the overall purchasing, inventory, and distribution of athletic equipment for all student‑athletes and coaches.
Employees hired into Intermittent positions are limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year.
Salary Grade16 – see Staff Compensation Structure for salary ranges.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position will supervise all full‑time, part‑time, and student support staff within the unit.

Other duties may be assigned to the above consistent with the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job. Not all of the duties may be assigned to a position.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Sports Administration, Business Administration, Management or related field with three (3) years of experience in related field.
- Certification or Licensure Requirements:
Commercial Driver’s License eligible; must be certified by AEMA or working towards certification.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Regularly involves lifting, bending or other physical exertion. Often exposed to one or more elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. with one to the point of being objectionable. Injuries may require professional treatment.
Job frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Job occasionally requires climbing or balancing, and lifting more than 100 pounds.
Vision requirements:
Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
