Our client seeks a Compliance Project Manager to provide end-to-end project management supporting Regulatory Compliance. The role facilitates, supports, tracks, and reports on initiatives to ensure execution of laws and regulations, internal policies, and regulatory expectations. The position ensures activities comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures, and adheres to the Employee Accountability Policy Statement.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accountability for job performance actions aligned to the bank's Risk Appetite & Tolerance Framework, mitigating violations and achieving directed outcomes.
- Own project objectives and deliver end-to-end project management for multiple work streams.
- Assist in developing and coordinating action plans and follow up on project action items.
- Recommend plan revisions, including timetables, and track revision status.
- Coordinate with Project Sponsor, Project Owner, and Stakeholders, and provide progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and as designed.
- Drive timely resolution of BSA/AML/OFAC, Internal Control, Internal Audit, supervisory findings, and MRAs in compliance with corrective actions, best practices, and regulatory guidance.
- Discuss remediation closure memos with Compliance senior management for approval and address comments or questions.
- Support coordination of Regulatory Compliance aspects of OCC-led exams and continuous monitoring related to Compliance.
- Partner with department head to facilitate remediations of audit and examination findings and update processes and training to prevent future violations.
- Work with stakeholders to meet deadlines and document processes through final deliverables.
- Perform continuous monitoring to track and report project progress and review deliverables and milestones for internal stakeholders.
- Track external engagements with vendors or consultants supporting Compliance-related projects and activities.
- Perform testing of IT systems as part of compliance project management.
- Manage compliance project closures, including Internal Audit, Internal Control, Supervisory Letter, and MRAs CAP Closure coordination.
- Prepare project closure requests, consolidate necessary documents, and organize records.
- Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the Head of Compliance Governance and Projects and Executive Leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on Bank requirements and consistent with role competencies.
- About 8 years of hands-on BSA/AML and OFAC experience and project management in a US Foreign Bank setting.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably compliance-related projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC-related FFIEC guidelines, OCC regulations, and applicable U.S. laws and regulations for foreign and domestic banking organizations.
- Excellent writing skills with strong organization, attention to detail, and time management.
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, initiative, and sound judgment.
- Effective project management skills and experience in building trust.
- High discretion with proven ability to handle all aspects of the role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Professional certifications in project management and ACAMS certification required.
