POSITION SUMMARY

Are you an organized, efficient, detail oriented person who loves the mountains? Steamboat Ski and Resort's Procurement department is looking for a Receiving Supervisor, apply today! This position will be responsible for the smooth functioning, staffing, and orchestration of staging of all products, food, and otherwise to be delivered to their final destinations across the resort's locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in forecasting and management of labor needs for efficient operations
  • Responsible for maintaining proper storage, quality, freshness, and rotation of food & beverage products
  • Maintain a professional level of cleanliness in all work areas
  • Oversee loading and staging of goods to be transported out of the base area, and manage their movement around SSRC locations, this includes up and downloading of the gondola
  • Process invoices per Alterra guidelines
  • Receive and confirm uploaded product pallets repack if necessary
  • Supervise efficient loading of delivery pallets onto haul cats and on-road vehicles
  • Facilitate recycling by overseeing the organization and downloading of all waste materials from mountain lodges
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum 2 years in a warehouse with experience in inventories and employee management or equivalent preferred
  • Must have basic Food Safety Knowledge including basic handling procedures, storing procedures, and familiarity with health department regulations
  • Must be able to organize and control mass quantities of products in transition from many points of origin to many points of destinations and be able to record and track when product deviates
  • Must be able to interview, hire, train, schedule, evaluate, grow and terminate employees
  • Must have ability to perform all jobs in the warehouse
  • Must have strong knowledge of mountain trails, traffic patterns and operations
  • Ability to problem-solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standards.
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standards
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.

The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
