Position Summary

The Project Coordinator/Maintenance Tech manages exterior construction projects from start to finish while ensuring all documentation, scheduling, and quality standards are met. This role supports project completion through coordination of crews, materials, and customer communication. The position will also perform hands‑on repair work including roofing, siding, gutters, and window repairs. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of balancing administrative responsibilities with fieldwork.

Performance Objectives
  • Manage and oversee assigned exterior construction projects from start to finish, ensuring proper material delivery, work quality, and safety compliance.
  • Collect and submit all required project documentation, including contracts, payments, and insurance paperwork.
  • Upload all before, during, and after photos and relevant job details into the company’s CRM system (Job Nimbus).
  • Communicate detailed job breakdowns and instructions to crews and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate and oversee all trades required for job completion.
  • Perform maintenance and repair work related to roofing, siding, gutters, and windows.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA standards are followed by all trades on‑site.
  • Schedule final inspections and ensure completion before job closeout.
  • Encourage and assist customers in leaving post‑project reviews.
  • Collect payments when authorized and deliver to the accounting team.
  • Support and help develop SOPs for the solar division, including coordination and sales assistance.
  • Identify opportunities for additional work or upselling on existing projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to drive repeat business.
Capabilities / Key Competencies

  • Basic estimating proficiency, including accurately estimating repair labor hours.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Self‑motivated with a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Proficiency with Gmail and Google Calendar.
  • Maintenance and repair of exteriors.
  • Ability to drive a commercial fleet vehicle, which requires a valid Driver's License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or exterior construction (roofing, siding, gutters, or windows preferred).
  • 2+ years hands‑on experience with maintenance and repair work that covers complete exterior (roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and paint).
  • Proficiency with CRM or project management software (Job Nimbus experience is a plus).
Physical Requirements
  • Setting ladders.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials – up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to get on roofs and ladders.
  • This position requires sitting – up to 60% (computer work and driving company vehicle).
