We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Project Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced environment in the construction industry, where you will be responsible for providing technical support to our project teams. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, from reviewing plans and specifications, to supporting jobsite meetings, and assisting with project closeout documentation.

This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects and to develop your skills in a challenging and rewarding setting.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting jobsite meetings and maintaining accurate meeting minutes.
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability.
• Assisting with project closeout documentation and turnover.
• Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during the project.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Providing technical advice to the project team and stakeholders.
• Participating in project planning and scheduling, and monitoring progress against timelines.
• Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in using project management software.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems and make decisions effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
