Concessions Worker

The City of Gunnison is looking for a friendly, dependable Concessions Worker to join the Ice Rink team and help create a fun and welcoming experience for our community. This part-time position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying active, and being part of a busy recreational environment. You will operate the concession stand, assist patrons with admissions and skate rentals, process cash and credit card transactions, prepare and serve food and beverages, and help keep the rink clean, safe, and inviting.

No two shifts are exactly alike at the ice rink. In addition to concession operations, you may assist with skate sharpening, snow removal, facility cleaning, special events, and other rink activities. The ideal candidate is friendly, responsible, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. The position requires evening, weekend, holiday, and other nontraditional hours based on the rink schedule.

A minimum age of 18 is required, with a high school diploma or equivalent and customer service experience preferred. Hourly rate ranges from $21.55 to $24.36 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, plus a $1.84 per hour incentive completion bonus at the end of the season.
