Experienced EDDA Dental Assistant – Full Time
We believe good dentistry starts with happy, capable people, and that great teams are built by humans who enjoy their lives. If you’re an EDDA who feels the same, keep reading.
We’re looking for a skilled, emotionally steady, hard‑working EDDA who knows how to run a column, support the doctor, and keep the day moving smoothly— even when things get busy. This is not an entry‑level role. (Pay based on experience and references with incentive opportunities) This is for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and brings calm confidence to the operatory.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Manage a clinical column efficiently and independently.
- Assist the doctor with exams, restorations, crowns, oral surgery, and procedures.
- Take high‑quality X‑rays, impressions, and assist with lab cases.
- Prepare rooms, maintain flow, and protect the doctor’s time.
- Perform clinical tasks such as making temps, packing cord, placing fillings, and managing the lab work for full‑mouth restoration cases.
- Handle sterilization and operatory turnover with precision and consistency.
- Support patients with clear communication, confidence, and kindness.
- Keep things moving without chaos, rushing, or hand‑holding.
- EDDA trained (or equivalent such as EFDA required).
- A confident leader who takes ownership, sets the tone, and keeps things moving without creating tension.
- Clinically solid, detail‑oriented, and reliable.
- Calm under pressure and steady when the schedule gets tight.
- Self‑directed—you don’t wait to be told what needs to be done.
- Eager to learn and dedicated to growing yourself and your career.
- Comfortable leading in the operatory and supporting the doctor proactively.
- Friendly, confident, grounded, and professional with patients and teammates.
- You take pride in doing things the right way.
- Inspirational and able to easily and charismatically connect with others, naturally happy and upbeat/positive.
- Naturally nurturing, fun, empathetic and kind.
- Capable of multitasking, working hard/fast, and keeping a smile on your face through it all in order to thrive in this position.
- Full‑time position with a stable schedule.
- PTO accruing immediately.
- Alternating work weeks (every other weekend is 4 days) built‑in time to explore the mountains and actually recover.
- Paid holidays.
- Health stipend.
- Doctors who respect skilled assistants and trust them to lead.
- Room to grow as the practice continues to rebuild and expand.
- A practice that is building systems, flow, and sustainability with intention.
- Employee assistance program.
- Paid time off.
- Referral program.
- Relocation assistance.
- EDDA: 3 years (Required).
