Perform basic redline drafting of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs). Supervision with specific and detailed instructions from the supervisor for day-to-day projects. This position reports directly to the Drafting Team Manager.

• Responsible for drawings to have a professional appearance.
• Required to accurately capture red lines assigned by the project lead.
• Responsible for accurate back check of individual work against redlined documents.
• Establish working relationships to maintain a positive and productive work environment internally.
• Required to learn Kahuna and client specific drafting standards.
• Ability to do basic 2D drafting utilizing AutoCAD® and CADWorx P&® pre-developed tools.
• Basic understanding of P&.
• Must learn CADWorx P&® built-in and Kahuna developed functionality.
• Accountable to immediate supervisor for receiving tasks.
• Accountable to immediate supervisor for timesheet approval.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of the workflow from beginning to end of a project.
• Demonstrate ability to functionally communicate technical and administrative project/task details, including correspondence via e-mails and general documentation.
• Organize and prepare drawings for delivery while maintaining security and confidentiality in a timely manner.
• Must be willing to be flexible with your schedule to meet deadlines.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Must be a motivated self-starter with initiative, drive and can work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Must be detailed oriented; precise and organized in handling of drawings.
• Solid organizational skills required; must be able to prioritize and multitask
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Community college drafting / CAD courses or previous experience with CAD required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD® 3-Dimensional drafting is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to take direction, learn standards, and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
