Position Details:

Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist - Location:
Near Avondale, Colorado - Shift: 24-hour on-call (7 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Friday, every other week)
- Start Date:
December 6, 2024, with ongoing bi-weekly shifts available through early April - Required Procedures:
General GI procedures, including ERCP - Support Staff:
Backup physician available for concurrent calls at nearby facilities
Key Requirements:
- Board Certification:
Required in Gastroenterology or Board-Eligible with recent Internal Medicine certification - Licensure:
Active Colorado medical license and DEA registration required - Experience: ERCP experience required, with a clean malpractice and background record preferred
- Availability:
Must be available for the specified call dates through April
Scheduling and Coverage Dates:
- Weekly Call Schedule:
Friday (7 a.m.) - Friday (7 a.m.) bi-weekly, starting December 6, 2024, with multiple coverage dates through April - Future Coverage:
Potential need for coverage beyond April, depending on facility requirements
Credentialing Information:

Average 15-25 patients per day with 5-8 daily procedures on inpatients; additional consults and transfers expected - Anesthesia Support:
