About the PositionLocum Jobs Online is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Neurosurgery MD in Denver, Colorado, 80228!
We are seeking a Neurological Surgeon for a 45-day assignment with our client in Colorado. This role, beginning Mar 16, 2026, involves 24-hour shifts in a Trauma facility with primary call requirements, focusing on general neurosurgery, trauma, and spine cases. The physician will handle procedures like placing EVDs, intracranial pressure monitoring bolts, performing craniectomies, craniotomies, and managing severely TBI and brain tumor patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care within a Trauma facility.
- Manage primary call requirements for a 24/7/365 schedule.
- Demonstrate proficiency in general neurosurgery, trauma, and spine cases.
- Perform procedures including placing EVDs and bolts for intracranial pressure monitoring.
- Execute craniectomy and craniotomy procedures.
- Manage intensive care unit patients, including those with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) and brain tumors.
