Join our team as a Locum Physician OB/GYN and make a meaningful impact in Longmont, CO. You will deliver top-tier obstetric and gynecological care, including routine and complex deliveries, high-risk pregnancies, and minor gynecologic surgeries, all within a supportive team of healthcare professionals.
This role offers flexible scheduling with hospital shifts and minimal on-call requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. As a locum provider, you will utilize advanced tools such as Epic EMR, perform onsite ultrasounds, and contribute to patient care in a Level II nursery setting. Your expertise will ensure quality outcomes for diverse patient populations, from low-risk pregnancies to complicated high-risk cases.
Required Skills:
- Active medical license in Colorado
- Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience managing prenatal care, labor, and delivery
- Ability to interpret fetal heart rate and perform routine ultrasound screenings
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork attitude
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Ultrasound interpretation skills
- Prior experience in hospital or OB/GYN practice settings
- Ability to perform minor gynecologic laparoscopic procedures
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency OB/GYN practice
- Previous locum experience is a plus but not required
- Availability to start on 03/04/2026
- Willingness to work approximately 4-5 patients per day, with 3-4 deliveries per week
- Must comply with all licensure, certification, and travel reimbursement policies
- Willingness to send travel information 4 weeks prior to start
